Privacy policy

This policy explains what iBook QBank (app.ibookseries.com, run by iBook) collects about you, why, and who handles it. We collect only what the service needs and we don’t sell your data.

What we collect

• Account: full name, email, mobile number and password (stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Device: a random device token (we keep only its fingerprint), your browser type and IP address — used to keep your account on one device.
• Study activity: the questions you answer, your choices, pinned questions and exam results, so you can track progress.
• Protection events: attempts to copy, print, screenshot or record, with time and IP address.
• Purchases: which question bank and plan, amount, date and Kashier’s order reference. Card details go only to Kashier and never reach us.

How we use it

• To run your account, unlock what you bought and show your progress.
• To protect the content: your name and mobile number are shown faintly over the questions, and a hidden mark in the question text identifies your account if a copy leaks.
• To prevent fraud and account sharing, and to answer support requests.

Who handles it for us

• Supabase — database and sign-in.
• Hostinger — hosting of the website.
• Kashier — card and wallet payments.
• Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google”.
• Anthropic (Claude) — drafts explanations for authors from the question text and pages of the source book. No student data is ever sent.

We share data with others only if the law requires it, or to act on a leak of the content.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the service needs: your sign-in session, the device token and a short-lived device check. Your light/dark choice is kept in your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we delete your profile, progress and device record. We keep payment records as long as the law requires, and protection records linked to a leak investigation until it’s closed.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Contact us on WhatsApp 01280004002 from the mobile number on your account, or send the email you signed up with.
